READING GUIDE · WHY CHOOSE OMEGAVERSE
Omegaverse Reverse Harem Grovel Books: 8 Picks Where the Pack Earns Her Back
By Romance Book Guide Editorial · Last checked October 2026
omegaverse reverse harem grovel books: best picks to start with are Pack Darling by Lola Rock or Pack Rivals by Hannah Haze if you'll read two books, and Grovel by Violet Fox if you want one standalone. Five of these eight picks are two-book stories, so check the reading order before you buy.
A real grovel is more than one sorry speech. It's a pack that hurt her and now has to change, out loud, while she has every reason to say no. Every book on this list is built around that, and the table below shows who has to do the work, how dark it gets, and how many books you're signing up for.
These are adult romances. Most have sex on the page, and a few go dark.
What changes your pick:
- How dark you want it. Talk About... Drama is the sweetest here. Sweetheart and Beg Me are the darkest.
- Whether you'll read two books. If you won't, start with Grovel, Talk About... Drama or Beg Me.
- Who hurt her. Some packs rejected her years ago. Some bullied her. One accused her of marrying for money. Pick the hurt you want to see fixed.
Omegaverse reverse harem grovel books at a glance
Each row is one reading choice. Read across to see who has to earn her back, how dark the story is, which books you need, and what we could confirm about heat and the ending. "Not verified" means we couldn't confirm it, not that it's missing.
| Pick | Who has to earn her back, and why | How dark | Books to read, and the ending | Heat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pack Darling — Lola Rock | The Wyvern pack, after making it clear she'd never really belong. The publisher says book 2 is them earning her forgiveness. (Author or publisher information) | Middle | Breathless → Forever (also sold as Part One → Part Two). Book 1 doesn't end happily; the author points you to book 2 for the HEA. (Author or publisher information) | Open-door: the audio publisher calls it high heat, with MM scenes. (Author or publisher information) |
| Pack Rivals — Hannah Haze | Six alphas from two feuding packs who hurt her. The author says they grovel in book 2. (Author or publisher information) | Middle | Part One → Part Two. Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger; book 2 is tagged HEA. (Author or publisher information) | Slow burn; sexual group scenes in book 2. How explicit: not stated. (Author or publisher information) |
| Sweetheart — Marie Mackay | Her celebrity scent-match pack, who are nothing like their public image. Book 2 is their turn to win her. (Author or publisher information) | Dark (author calls it a bully duet) | Part One → Part Two. Book 1 is a cliffhanger; the author guarantees an HEA after book 2. (Author or publisher information) | Not verified |
| Pack Gamble — Hannah Haze | Five alphas who accused her of marrying one of them for money. The author places the grovel in book 2. (Author or publisher information) | Middle | Part One → Part Two. Book 1 ends on a cliffhanger and a breakup; the happy ending comes in book 2. (Author or publisher information) | Sexual group scenes. How explicit: not stated. (Author or publisher information) |
| The Bonding Trials — Evelyn Flood | The Cohen pack, her fated mates, who reject her and keep failing her. The author tags it grovel. (Author or publisher information) | Dark-leaning: the author tags trauma and angst | Denied → Devoted. A finished two-book story. How book 2 ends: not verified. | Not verified |
| Grovel — Violet Fox | Three alpha scent matches who pushed her away ten years ago. (Author or publisher information) | Lighter, with a holiday setting | One book (standalone). Ending: not verified. | Not verified |
| Talk About... Drama — Jarica James | One alpha who rejected her years ago and is "learning to grovel," plus a new pack. (Author or publisher information) | Sweet (author: "sweet packs") | One book (standalone in a series). Ending: not verified. | Not verified |
| Beg Me — Allie Santos | The alphas who bought her at a heat auction and judged her. The author lists groveling as a trope. (Author or publisher information) | Dark (author's subtitle says so) | Book 1 of a series; a book database lists it as standalone. The author says she always writes an HEA. (Author or publisher information) | Medium-to-high, in the author's words. (Author or publisher information) |
Book details checked October 23, 2026, against author, publisher and audiobook pages. Order is for browsing, not a ranking. HEA means "happily ever after," the ending where the couple (here, the whole pack) ends up together for good.
Words you'll see on this page
You probably know most of these already. Here's how this guide uses them, so nothing sneaks up on you.
- Omegaverse: a made-up world where people are alphas, betas or omegas. Omegas have heats, alphas protect, and scent matters a lot.
- Reverse harem, or why choose: one heroine with several love interests, and she never has to pick just one. "Why choose" is the newer name. Same idea.
- Grovel: the part where the person who hurt her has to own it and change before she lets them back in.
- Scent match: two people whose scents mark them as meant for each other.
- Duet (or duology): one story told across two books. Book 1 usually stops before the ending.
- Cliffhanger: a book that stops at a big unanswered moment, so you need the next book.
- Slow burn: the romance takes its time before anyone gets together.
- Open-door: sexual scenes happen on the page instead of fading out.
Choose the kind of grovel you want
Start with what the pack did wrong. That's the part you'll be waiting to see fixed, so it matters more than the cover or the setting.
- A pack that never made room for her → Pack Darling. The whole second book is about the pack winning her back.
- Two rival packs who have to stop fighting each other first → Pack Rivals. It's also book 1 of Hannah Haze's Rockview series, if you like starting at the beginning.
- Bullying, and a heroine taking back her right to choose → Sweetheart.
- A drunk wedding, a bond she can't remember, and a pack that thinks she's after their money → Pack Gamble.
- Fated mates who reject her on day one → Denied and Devoted.
- One book, one night, and a Christmas homecoming → Grovel.
- Small town, sweeter tone, and only one alpha who needs to grovel → Talk About... Drama.
- Dark, with a heroine who was bought → Beg Me.
Already read Pack Darling? Say you finished Forever and want that same "they have to earn it" feeling. Try Pack Rivals if you liked a big pack learning to work together. Try Sweetheart if you want it meaner before it gets better. Try Pack Gamble if you want the misunderstanding to be the wound. These match the setup, not necessarily the tone, so check the notes below.
The eight picks, with who grovels and what to expect
Read each two-book story in order. Every entry below tells you the setup, why it fits a grovel search, what we could confirm about content and the ending, and how to get it.
Pack Darling
Choose this for: the grovel readers bring up first.
Lilah has spent years making everyone think she's a "dud" omega who will never go into heat, because all she wants is to be left alone. Then the Wyvern pack needs an omega. The pack is four alphas plus Orion, a male omega they already love, and they make it very clear Lilah will never really belong. (Author or publisher information: Penguin Random House, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: In book 2, Lilah wants nothing to do with them. The publisher says the pack has to work to earn her forgiveness, with a lot of groveling, while she's in danger. (Author or publisher information: Penguin Random House) The audiobook publisher also says the pack has to grovel for redemption. (Author or publisher information: Audible listing)
Content:
- Sexual detail: Open-door. The audiobook publisher describes high heat and lists MM and group scenes. (Author or publisher information) The optional Extended Ending (book 2.5) is, in the author's words, extra heat chapters for adult readers only.
- Language: Frequent cursing, according to the audiobook publisher.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: References to past assault, according to the audiobook publisher. The pack treats her badly in book 1, and a rival family threatens her in book 2. (Author or publisher information)
Pack shape: The pack includes a male omega, and the publisher lists MM content. If you want every partner focused only on her, know that going in.
Ending and order: Read book 1, then book 2. Book 1 doesn't resolve the romance. The author's original description told readers to wait for book 2 if they need an HEA. (Author or publisher information: NetGalley listing)
The edition puzzle: This story has two sets of names.
- The originals: Lola Rock first self-published Pack Darling: Part One in July 2021, and Part Two followed.
- The new names: In the US, Dell (part of Penguin Random House) now sells them as Pack Darling: Breathless and Pack Darling: Forever.
- What's out now: As of Oct 23, 2026, the publisher lists both as ebooks (384 and 496 pages).
- Paperbacks: These are preorders, due Dec 1, 2026 and Mar 9, 2027.
- Audiobooks: They still use the Part One and Part Two names. Both are narrated by Troy Duran and Kelsey Navarro Foster, and run about 9.5 and 12 hours.
It's the same story either way, so don't buy it twice.
Kindle Unlimited: Not verified.
Skip it if: you won't commit to two books, you want no MM content, or past-assault references are a hard no.

Pack Rivals
Choose this for: a big pack, two of them actually, learning to stop competing and make it up to her.
Bea leaves town after her heart gets broken, and finds out on the way that she's an omega, not a beta. Two rich, powerful packs want her, and they hate each other. Their feud costs them her trust. (Author or publisher information: author's book page, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The author says plainly that the love interests hurt Bea emotionally and that there's groveling in Part Two. (Author or publisher information: author's content notes) In Part Two, all six alphas have to set the rivalry aside and prove they've changed. The book page tags it "Grovel / Redemption." (Author or publisher information: author's book page)
Content:
- Sexual detail: The author calls it a slow burn and lists sexual group scenes in Part Two. How explicit those scenes are isn't stated. (Author or publisher information)
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: The author lists these themes. (Author or publisher information)
- Bea's past emotionally abusive relationship. She was cheated on by an ex, not by this pack.
- One hero neglected as a child, and one hero's mother who is terminally ill.
- Violence in Part Two, including an abduction.
Ending and order: Part One, then Part Two. The author tags Part One "Cliffhanger Ending" and Part Two "Satisfying HEA." (Author or publisher information) These are books 1 and 2 of the Rockview Omegaverse. You don't need any other Rockview book first.
Length and formats: First published in 2023 and published by the author. Both parts come as ebook, signed paperback (from the author's shop) and audiobook. The audiobooks are narrated by Sierra Taft and Christopher Boucher. (Audible listing, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Kindle Unlimited: On Oct 23, 2026, the author's pages for both parts said "Read on Kindle Unlimited." That's the author's statement. We didn't check a US Kindle storefront, so confirm it in your own account before you borrow.
Skip it if: you don't want six love interests, a slow start, or a cliffhanger at the end of book 1.
Sweetheart
Choose this for: a dark bully story where book 2 belongs to the pack's grovel.
She's 19, an omega who has been forced into a bond with a cruel pack, and she has scent-matched a famous alpha pack she's adored for years. She ends up in their home pretending to be a beta companion. She has to get them to fall for her before her heat gives her away, and they are nothing like the kind men she saw in interviews. (Author or publisher information: author's description on Goodreads, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: In Part One, she's the one trying to win them over. The author's description of Part Two flips it: now it's their turn to earn her. This time she'll choose her mates herself, not because of the bond. (Author or publisher information: author's description on Goodreads)
Content:
- Sexual detail: Not verified.
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: The author labels it bully omegaverse with dark themes. The heroine was bonded against her will to a different, cruel pack before the story starts. (Author or publisher information)
Pack shape: The author describes it as MFMMM, meaning one woman and four men. That label alone doesn't tell you which pairings are on the page.
Ending and order: Part One, then Part Two. The author says Part One ends on a cliffhanger and Part Two has a guaranteed HEA. (Author or publisher information) The author also says she doesn't write pregnancy into her books, epilogues included. (Author or publisher information: Goodreads author page)
Length and formats: Self-published.
- Part One: came out Sept 8, 2023, with a 456-page paperback.
- Part Two: came out Nov 16, 2023, with a 544-page Kindle edition.
- Audiobooks: narrated by Alyssa Rogge and Mark Harrietha. Part One runs about 11.5 hours.
On Oct 23, 2026 we couldn't open a direct US store page for the ebooks, so look up both parts under Marie Mackay at your usual store.
Kindle Unlimited: Not verified.
Skip it if: bullying, a forced bond or a cliffhanger is a hard no.
Pack Gamble
Choose this for: a misunderstanding that does real damage, and five alphas who have to fix it.
She wakes up in a stranger's bed, married to one of the richest men around and bonded to him. Neither of them remembers the night before. His pack decides she trapped him for money, even as she falls for all five alphas. (Author or publisher information: author's book page, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The author tags Part One "Grovel (in Part Two)." Part Two opens with her heartbroken and facing a heat alone. The pack comes back begging forgiveness, and the author makes clear that flowers and chocolates won't cut it. Part Two is tagged "Grovel / Redemption Arc." (Author or publisher information: author's book page)
Content:
- Sexual detail: The author lists sexual group scenes. How explicit they are isn't stated.
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: The author lists these themes. (Author or publisher information: author's content notes)
- A bond formed on a night neither of them remembers.
- Accusations that she's a gold digger, and a breakup at the end of Part One.
- Mentions of a past sexual assault and a serious car accident.
- Private details published without permission, and one violent scene.
- A pregnancy mentioned at the end.
Ending and order: Part One, then Part Two. Part One is tagged "Cliffhanger Ending," and the audiobook listing says the happy ending comes in Part Two. (Author or publisher information: Audible listing) These are Rockview books 4 and 5, and you can read them without books 1–3.
Length and formats: Part One was first released in 2024 and is published by the author. Both parts come as ebook, signed paperback and audiobook. Part One's audiobook is narrated by Charlie K. James and Brian Kozak.
Kindle Unlimited: On Oct 23, 2026, the author's pages for both parts said "Read free in Kindle Unlimited" (author's statement). Confirm it in your own US account before you borrow.
Skip it if: a bond made while neither partner remembers the night bothers you, or pregnancy mentions are a dealbreaker.

Denied and Devoted (The Bonding Trials)
Choose this for: fated mates who reject her, then have to fight to get her back.
Sienna is matched with the Cohen pack, her fated mates, and she's ready for her happy ending. They don't want her. To stay, she has to get through the Bonding Trials or be sent away. In Devoted, she's been separated from her bonded alphas and her body is failing without them. After being let down again and again, she's close to giving up. The pack sets out to find her and bring her home. (Author or publisher information: author's shop, Denied and Devoted, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The author tags both books "Rejected mate" and "Grovel," along with "Why Choose / Reverse Harem." (Author or publisher information) A reader review quoted on the author's own site calls Devoted nearly a whole book of groveling. (Reader report)
Content:
- Sexual detail: Not verified.
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: The author lists these themes. (Author or publisher information)
- Trauma and angst.
- Other-woman drama, meaning a rival for the pack's attention.
- Being rejected by her mates.
- Her health failing when she's apart from them.
Pack shape: The author tags it MMFMM, meaning one woman and four men.
Ending and order: Denied, then Devoted. The author says it's a two-book duology and to read Denied first. The story is finished. Whether Devoted ends in an HEA or a happy-for-now: not verified. The audiobook listing makes no ending claim.
Length and formats: First published in 2023. The author's signed paperbacks run 279 and 262 pages. These are printed to order, and the shop says shipping can take up to six weeks. Podium publishes the audiobooks, narrated by Maeve York and JD Tomlinson (Devoted listing, checked Oct 23, 2026).
Kindle Unlimited: Not verified.
Skip it if: you need a confirmed HEA before you start, or other-woman drama ruins a book for you.

Grovel
Choose this for: one book, one cozy evening, and a grovel with a deadline.
Three weeks before Christmas, she goes home to Silverpine to care for her sick grandmother. That's the town where her three alpha scent matches pushed her away ten years ago, scared she'd break their hearts. Now they say letting her go was their biggest mistake. She gives them until New Year's to prove it. (Author or publisher information: Audible listing, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The whole setup is the grovel. Ten years of it, owed by three alphas, against a clock. (Author or publisher information)
Content:
- Sexual detail: Not verified.
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: A grandmother's illness, and an old heartbreak. (Author or publisher information)

On Oct 23, 2026 we couldn't open a direct US ebook page, so look it up under Violet Fox.
If you liked it: Swoon (Silverpine #2, 2026) is another standalone with a similar shape. She was rejected in high school, and at the ten-year reunion the pack has to court her properly. (Author or publisher information)
Kindle Unlimited: Not verified.
Skip it if: you want a long, slow grovel or a dark story.
Talk About... Drama
Choose this for: the sweetest option here, with one alpha doing most of the groveling.
Years after her scent match Cameron rejected her, she can't keep getting through heats alone. So she goes home to Rockwood Valley and hires a fake pack to make him jealous. Then she finds out the "fake" pack are her scent matches too. (Author or publisher information: retailer listing, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The author says one alpha is learning to grovel, another isn't sure he wants an omega, and the rest are trying to prove they're worthy. (Author or publisher information) Readers disagree about whether he grovels enough before she forgives him. (Reader report)
Content:
- Sexual detail: Not verified. A retailer listing notes mature themes.

Skip it if: you want the whole pack to grovel, or you want real darkness.
Beg Me
Choose this for: a dark setup where the grovel is promised up front.
Her father sells her at auction, and the buyers turn out to be her scent matches, though they don't know it. They see a spoiled, shallow girl. She plans to find out what they want, bargain for her freedom, and make them sorry. (Author or publisher information: author's trope list as listed by New Books Alert, checked Oct 23, 2026)
Why it fits: The author lists "groveling" among the book's tropes. In her own note, she says she always delivers an HEA with a grovel. (Author or publisher information)
Content:
- Sexual detail: "Med/high spice," in the author's words.
- Language: Not verified.
- Faith themes: Not verified.
- Difficult material: A heroine sold by her father, and heat auctions. The author asks readers to check her content warnings. (Author or publisher information)

Kindle Unlimited: Not verified.
Skip it if: a purchased heroine or a heat auction is a hard no.

What a grovel looks like in these books
In omegaverse why choose books, a grovel is the stretch where the alpha or pack who hurt the omega has to own it and change before she lets them back in. It works best when the hurt was real and the making-up takes real time.
The usual setups on this list:
- The pack that rejected her years ago: Grovel, Talk About... Drama.
- The pack that made her an outsider: Pack Darling, Pack Rivals.
- The pack that bullied her: Sweetheart.
- The pack that judged her unfairly: Pack Gamble, Beg Me.
- The fated mates who refused her: Denied and Devoted.
A grovel in one example. Here's a made-up scene to show the difference. Say a pack sends their omega away before her first heat because they're scared of needing anyone. Years later, a weak grovel is one big speech and a quick yes. A strong grovel is them showing up for every heat she spends alone. It's building her a nest she's allowed to pull apart, and taking "not yet" without arguing. It's each alpha owning his own part instead of hiding behind the pack. That second version is the feeling these books are built around.
Two-book stories put the grovel in book 2. In Pack Darling, Pack Rivals, Pack Gamble and Sweetheart, book 1 shows the hurt, and book 2 is the work of fixing it. Starting with book 2 skips the reason the grovel matters.
Check your content limits before you choose
"Grovel" tells you someone has to make up for something. It doesn't tell you how much sex is on the page, how dark the hurt is, or what else happens. We keep sexual detail, language, faith themes and difficult material separate, and anything we couldn't confirm stays "not verified."
If you want no sexual scenes on the page
We didn't find an omegaverse why choose grovel book with a source saying it has no sex on the page. Pack Darling is open-door, according to its audiobook publisher. The two Hannah Haze stories have sexual group scenes, per the author. Beg Me is "med/high spice," per the author. For the rest, we couldn't confirm the level. If no sexual scenes on the page matters more to you than the pack setup, our clean romance books guide covers other kinds of love stories that meet that line.
If you want to avoid cheating, forced bonds or pregnancy
Check each one on its own. A book can have a happy ending and still include something you don't want.
- Cheating: In Pack Rivals, the author says Bea was cheated on by an ex, not by the pack. Denied and Devoted have other-woman drama.
- Forced or unremembered bonds:
- Sweetheart starts after a forced bond to a different pack.
- Pack Gamble starts with a bond neither partner remembers making.
- Beg Me starts with a heroine sold at auction.
- Pregnancy: Pack Gamble mentions a pregnancy at the end, per the author. Marie Mackay says she doesn't write pregnancy, so that covers Sweetheart. For the others: not verified.
No book on this list is confirmed as free of non-consent. Read the author notes linked in each entry if that's a firm line for you.
If MM scenes change your choice
Pack Darling's audiobook publisher lists MM scenes, and its pack includes a male omega. For the other books, labels like "group scenes" or "MFMMM" tell you who is in the relationship, not which pairings appear on the page. That detail is not verified for them.
Close matches we left off, and why
These came up in reader threads and lists, but each misses one piece of your search, or we couldn't confirm it.
| Book | What checks out | Why it isn't on the main list |
|---|---|---|
| Knot Letting You Go — Lucy Scott Bryan (Scornedverse #1, 2023) | Omegaverse, several alphas, and the boys who rejected her as a teen want her back. The author describes heat scenes, so it's open-door. (Author or publisher information) | Listeners call it a real groveling book (Reader report), but the author's description doesn't say the grovel itself. If you're happy to trust readers, it's a strong match. |
| Claiming the Pack's Omega — Callie Clark (Riverwell #2, 2025) | A pack that deceives her while working undercover, then has to keep her safe. (Author or publisher information) | No source we checked calls it a grovel. |
| Spare — Violet Fox (The Beta Trials #1) | The author lists groveling and why choose. (Author or publisher information) | The heroine is a beta, not an omega. It's an eight-part series following four omegas, with MM romance. That's a different read from the rest of this list. |
| Lola & the Millionaires — Kathryn Moon | One of the most recommended reverse harem omegaverse books. | It's about healing from an abusive past alpha with a new, patient pack, not a pack that has to make up for its own mistakes. |
| Forget Me Knot — Marie Mackay | Why choose omegaverse; a pack breaks her out and swears to protect her. (Author or publisher information) | Protection, not repair. We didn't find a grovel in the author's description. |

A Kindle ebook isn't automatically in Kindle Unlimited, and borrowing isn't the same as owning a copy. Before you borrow, follow the steps in how to confirm you're borrowing the right edition. Check both books of a duet, because one being included doesn't mean the other is.
How we chose these books
Every main pick had to meet three tests. It had to be set in an omegaverse world. The heroine had to have several love interests. And the people who end up with her had to have hurt her and have to make it right. We needed the author's or publisher's own words for all three.
Romance Book Guide helps you find romance books that feel like your kind of love story — comparing real books by setting, relationship, content level and ending, with the author or publisher information behind every pick, so you can choose your next read with confidence.
The labels on this page come from our editorial standards:
- Author or publisher information: what the author, publisher or audiobook publisher says about the book. It is not our own check of the whole text.
- Reader report: what readers say, shared so you know the talk around a book. We don't treat it as fact.
- Not verified: we couldn't confirm it. That doesn't mean it isn't in the book.
We haven't read these books for this guide, so you won't see "Sample checked" or "Full book read" here. A two-book story counts as one pick. The order is for browsing, not a ranking.
Research note: On October 23, 2026, we checked these sources:
- Publisher pages (Penguin Random House), author websites and shops, and audiobook listings (Audible, Podium, audiobooks.com).
- Retailer and bookstore listings.
- Book databases, used only for some release dates and page counts.
- Reader threads on Reddit and Goodreads, which showed us what readers ask for. We used them as reader reports only.
What's author- or publisher-stated is labeled beside each claim.
What we didn't verify:
- Kindle Unlimited status in a US storefront for any pick.
- How explicit four of the books are.
- How four of them end.

Two quick questions
Which book has the longest grovel? Going by what the publishers and authors say, Pack Darling: Forever and Devoted are built almost entirely around the pack winning her back. A reader quoted on Evelyn Flood's site says the same of Devoted (Reader report). In Pack Rivals and Pack Gamble, the grovel also fills book 2.
Do I need to read the whole Rockview series first? No. Pack Rivals is Rockview books 1–2 and Pack Gamble is books 4–5. Each two-book story stands on its own. Just read Part One before Part Two.
Pick your pack
If one setup already sounds right, open its first book and read the notes beside it one more time. If you're still deciding, write down three things: the kind of hurt you want fixed, how dark you'll go, and whether you'll read two books. That's usually enough to pick.
Not ready to choose? You can put your tastes into words first and take them anywhere you shop.
